UPDATE (4:50PM) — Police have identified the two employees shot and killed at the Seymour Cummins Engine Plant on Thursday.
The victim is Ward R. Edwards, 49, of Columbus.
The suspected shooter has been identified as Qing Chen, 37, of Seymour.
Investigators say Edwards’ was Chen’s direct supervisor.
The men, along with a handgun, were found in a conference room at the plant’s new technical center.
Police conducted a search on vehicles belonging to both men. A search warrant has also been issued at Chen’s Seymour apartment.

SEYMOUR, Ind. — Two male employees were shot and killed in a suspected murder-suicide at the Seymour Cummins Engine Plant Thursday morning.
Local and state authorities responded around 9 a.m. after multiple 911 calls regarding shots fired in the Technical Center. The two men were found in a conference room.
Police have not released their identities, but Cummins confirms it was a manager and an employee.
The Seymour Plant will be closed until Monday.
