GREENWOOD, Ind. — Business is up at the Greenwood Municipal Airport this year.
Airport officials say the facility has increased operations and fuel sales by 50 percent compared to 2015.
The numbers reflect some new initiatives including the elimination of landing fees and allowing companies to enter into contract fuel programs.
The airport has a yearly economic impact of $27 million for the city.
