FRANKLIN, Ind. — Johnson County commissioners approved alcohol sales at the fairgrounds.
The Johnson County Fair Board said it should help attract more wedding receptions and other celebrations to the facilities.
“We are just trying to create more revenue for our fair board so we can continue to take care of a great facility we have here,” said Mike Pruitt, vice president of the Johnson County Fair Board.
The fair board says they would not allow alcohol to be sold on the fairgrounds during 4-H activities including the Johnson County 4-H Fair.
