FRANKLIN, Ind. — Johnson County Commissioners will further discuss a historic grave that is in the middle of the road near Franklin.
The grave of Nancy Kerlin Barnett (1793-1831) sits on a small mound of earth that splits the road on County Road 400S.
County officials are weighing different options in an effort to expand the road and better protect the grave.
Commissioners will address a proposed disinterment and reinterment of the grave during a meeting at 3 p.m. Monday.
