GREENWOOD, IN — The city of Greenwood is starting the process to pass legislation that would prevent discrimination against people based on their sexual orientation.
If passed, Greenwood would become one of 16 other Indiana cities that have laws to prevent businesses from refusing service or making hiring decisions based on gender identity or sexual preference.
Local law makers now plan to conduct a study to determine what impact it would have on local businesses.
