COLUMBUS, Ind.—This week marks the 42nd annual Emergency Medical Services Week. This year’s theme “Called to Care” acknowledges the commitment of Hoosiers who have chosen to answer the call of a demanding career as an EMS professional.
Indiana has an estimated 24,000 EMS personnel, over 100 EMS training institutions and over 700 EMS providers.
