ALL COUNTIES, Ind. — Over 1,000 Wendy’s restaurants were targeted by hackers and they got access to card numbers, names, expiration dates and codes from cards.
Wendy’s that were affected include several locations in Indianapolis, four in Bloomington, two in Columbus, two in Lafayette, as well as their restaurants in Camby, Crawfordsville, Frankfort, Greensburg, Lawrenceburg, Martinsville, Monticello, Mooresville, Muncie, North Vernon, Paoli, Plainfield, Plymouth, Shelbyville and Spencer.
The fast food chain was originally investigating reports of unusual activities on payment cards used at their restaurants in January 2016. The investigation uncovered more locations than they originally thought.
