JENNINGS COUNTY, Ind. — A tip called into the Jennings County Sheriff’s Department led deputies to a home in Country Squire Lakes on the suspicion of a marijuana growing operation.
When deputies arrived at the home, they were able to see what appeared to be a large marijuana plant through a window. Once inside, deputies seized 22 marijuana plants and several pieces of drug paraphernalia from the home. The residents, Lional R. Smith, 59, and Reva M. Brown, 44, both of North Vernon, were arrested.
