GREENWOOD, Ind. — The Indiana Department of Transportation plans to close two lanes of Interstate 65 in Johnson County this weekend for paving and striping.
Crews will conduct surface paving and striping on the southbound lanes from just north of Main Street to the Whiteland Road exit. A six-mile section of the center and left lanes will be closed beginning Friday at 7 p.m. Southbound traffic will be directed to the right lane. An “exit only” auxiliary lane will be available to traffic exiting onto Main Street from I-65. The restriction is expected to last until 11 a.m., Sunday.
The work is weather dependent.
