NORTH VERNON, Ind. — Michigan-based, Metaldyne Performance Group, has announced a $30.6 million expansion at its North Vernon facility. The project is expected to add a new, 32,400-square-foot building, and up to 126 new jobs by 2019. Construction will begin later this month. The company currently operates a 130,000-square-foot facility in North Vernon.
Metaldyne Performance Group produces powertrain and suspension components, generates over $1 billion in revenue annually, and provides parts for Cummins Inc., Audi, BMW, John Deere, Volvo Truck and VW.
