COLUMBUS, Ind. — A Wednesday evening traffic stop for speeding led to a drug arrest in Columbus.
Columbus police stopped Ryan Redmon, 25, of Columbus, on Central Avenue around 7:10 p.m. A canine officer was requested to the scene after Redmon appeared to be very nervous during a conversation with police. After the canine alerted police to the presence of illegal drugs in the vehicle, they found heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, and paraphernalia.
Redmon was arrested at the scene without incident.
