GREENWOOD, Ind. — Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested an Indianapolis man for driving 100-miles- per-hour on State Road 37 near County Road 800N around 2:40 a.m., Monday.
Police caught up with and stopped Adam Summers, 27, near State Road 37 and Bluff Road. During the investigation deputies say Summers appeared to be intoxicated and failed a field sobriety test. Inside the vehicle, police found open containers of alcohol and a firearm. Summers provided a breath test that registered a .14 percent blood alcohol level.
Because of a previous conviction, Summers was charged with felony operating while intoxicated. He was transported to the Johnson County Jail without incident.
