COLUMBUS, Ind. — A 19-year-old Columbus man faces multiple charges after being found unconscious in a vehicle on Friday.
Police responded to the 2000 block of Merchants Mile around 1:50 p.m., on a report of an unresponsive person in a parked vehicle. Police made contact with Skye Bailey, 19, of Columbus. Bailey was passed out with a handgun in his lap. Police also found methamphetamine and prescription pills.
Bailey was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a handgun without a license, and possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested at the scene. A second suspect in the vehicle was detained for a short time and then released.
