COLUMBUS, Ind. — A speeding violation led to a drug arrest in Columbus Saturday.
Police stopped a car just after midnight near Second and Sycamore Streets. During the investigation, a canine officer alerted law enforcement to the odor of narcotics. A search revealed two syringes in the possession Nathan Ingram, 26, of Columbus.
Ingram was charged with possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. He was arrested at the scene without incident.
