COLUMBUS, Ind. — An early morning foot chase in Columbus led to the arrest of Jesse Murphy, 27, of Edinburgh.
Around 2:30 a.m., Columbus police report they observed Murphy acting suspiciously in Lincoln Park. When they approached him he fled on foot. Murphy ignored several commands to stop from officers, but was caught a short time later. After being apprehended, Murphy originally provided a false identity to police.
Murphy was arrested for an outstanding Johnson County warrant, false informing, and resisting law enforcement.
