COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man and a woman in connection with an Armuth Acres burglary Wednesday afternoon.
The burglary was reported around 2 p.m., and the suspects were initially located in their vehicle by law enforcement on County Road 400N near River Road. Police say a car chase ensued and continued through Lowell Addition, and finally ending near Indianapolis Road and U. S. 31. The suspects then fled on foot. Indiana State troopers pursued the pair and eventually caught them. No names have been released.
Detectives are working with the home owners to determine what was taken.
