COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies arrested four people Thursday, with a total of seven outstanding warrants between them.
Deputies stopped a suspicious vehicle with three occupants in the 2200 block of State Street around 5:20 p.m. When the vehicle stopped, two people exited and fled, leaving the driver. Police determined the driver, Terry Winchester, 21, of Bloomington, was driving on a suspended license and had an outstanding warrant.
Deputies made a visual identification of the pair that escaped as Derrick Brown, 26, and Amber Harris, 31, both of Columbus, and wanted for outstanding warrants. Police went to their residence in the 5500 block of Denois Street and found both subjects. Additionally, Justice Macintosh, 26, who was also wanted for outstanding warrants, was found in the home.
All four subjects were taken to the Bartholomew County Jail. The nature of the warrants was not released by officials.
