FRANKLIN, Ind. — An Indianapolis woman has been accused of taking medication from a Greenwood CVS store while she was employed there.
The loss prevention officer of the store, in the 600 block of South State Road 135, told police that Samantha Beaver, 27, is suspected of taking prescription narcotics beginning in May 2016. Store employees began getting complaints from customers who were being shorted pills in prescriptions. Allegedly, officers have surveillance video of Beaver sneaking the pills into her socks.
The store is conducting a detailed audit to determine how many pills were taken.
The charges were filed by the Johnson County Prosecutor.
