COLUMBUS, Ind. — A disturbance investigation in Columbus led to the arrest of a local man for an outstanding warrant.
Columbus police were called to the area of Rocky Ford Road and Cardinal Lane around 1:30 p.m. Sunday. After a brief search, they found the man causing the disturbance. Police located Eric Peetz, 24, behind a dumpster at the Community Church of Columbus, and made the arrest.
Peetz was wanted for possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a syringe, resisting law enforcement and a petition to revoke probation. He was taken into custody without incident.
