COLUMBUS, Ind. — A traffic stop and foot pursuit led to the arrest of a Columbus man over the weekend.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 6000 block of South Jonesville Road on Saturday at 10:15 p.m. As police approached the car, a man later identified as Jesse Cameron, 26, fled on foot.
Cameron was able to elude officers for a short time, but was located and taken into custody in a nearby yard.
Cameron has been charged with resisting law enforcement, driving while suspended, and two outstanding Bartholomew County warrants.
