COLUMBUS, Ind. — Officers from the COPPS (Community Oriented Police and Problem Solving) unit in Columbus arrested a subject with an outstanding warrant Friday night.
Police observed Michael Coleman, 49, on the front porch of a home in the 1300 block of Chestnut Street at 6:45 p.m. Coleman surrendered to police without incident. While searching Coleman police found marijuana, methamphetamine and heroin.
Coleman was taken to the Bartholomew County Jail and charged with possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and an outstanding Bartholomew County warrant.
