WHITELAND, Ind. — An equipment violation resulted in a felony drug arrest in Johnson County Monday.
Deputies pulled over a vehicle driven by Sherry Eggers, 23, of Franklin, on U.S. 31 North near Whiteland Road at about 5 p.m. During the stop, the officer could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle and conducted a search where police recovered methamphetamine, marijuana, paraphernalia and an assortment of prescription pills.
Eggers was taken to the Johnson County Jail and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of paraphernalia.
