INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Republican John Young from Franklin has taken the oath of office and is now officially the state representative of district 47. Young was elected to the seat vacated by John Price.
“I am excited to represent the people of House District 47,” Young said. “I will keep the best interests of my constituents in mind and use my experience practicing law to make informed decisions when voting for policies affecting our community and state.”
Young is a graduate of Indiana Creek High School, earned a political science degree from Indiana University, and a Doctor of Law degree from Southern Illinois University.
