COLUMBUS, Ind. — A Shelbyville man was arrested by Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies for DUI, after being stopped for an equipment violation Saturday at 2:43 a.m.
Deputies noticed Dakota Stevens, 20, driving without headlights on County Road 450 South. Stevens allegedly told police he had been drinking but did not realize his headlights weren’t on.
Stevens was arrested for operating while intoxicated, illegal consumption, and driving without ever obtaining a license.
