COLUMBUS, Ind. — Three are homeless after an electrical attic fire in a home in the 1000 block of Central Avenue in Columbus on Thursday around 8 a.m.
When the Columbus Fire Department responded to the scene, they discovered a strong odor of smoke. Emergency responders were able to identify the source with thermal imaging equipment and attack it with water canisters.
Investigators have determined the estimated damage at $1,500.
