INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The sale of a condo owned by former Cummins CEO, Tim Solso, has set a Marion County record. The 5,500-square foot property on the 22nd floor of the Conrad Hotel sold for $4.8 million, and beat the previous record of $4.29 million for a 15,700-square-foot estate that was sold in northern Marion County in 2003. He and his wife had owned the property since 2008. The buyer was Michael McCracken, former owner of IVC Industrial Coatings.
Solso left Cummins in 2011 after 11 years of service. Since January 2014, Solso has served as an independent lead director of General Motors.
The property was on the market for 30 days and features views of Monument Circle and the Indiana Statehouse.
