FRANKLIN, Ind. — The Johnson County Sheriff’s Department has made an arrest in the December 2 murder of Andrew Perry. Perry was found in his home by his mother after she became concerned about his well-being. Joseph Evan Avart, 37, of Plainfield, was arrested over the weekend without incident.
More details will be released this morning during a joint press conference with Sheriff Doug Cox and the Johnson County prosecutor.
