COLUMBUS, Ind. — Columbus police recovered a stolen vehicle and made one arrest early Tuesday morning.
Officers investigated a report of a stolen vehicle in the 900 block of Marr Road around 1:30 a.m. During the investigation, the owner of the car and the police observed the stolen vehicle being driven near Marr Road and Pavilion Drive. Police were able to catch-up with the vehicle and conduct a felony traffic stop with the occupant.
Terry Barnhart, 34, of Columbus, has been charged with auto theft. The vehicle was undamaged and returned to the owner at the scene.
