COLUMBUS, Ind. —
An Elizabethtown man was killed in an early Wednesday morning crash at State Road 7 and County Road 250E.
Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies say, just after 5 a.m., a westbound car on State Road 7, driven by Michael Parris, 33, crossed the centerline and struck a semi-truck driven by Timothy Regan, 48, of Rensselaer.
Parris died at the scene. A passenger in the Parris auto, Dystiny Leonard, 26, of Columbus, was transported to Columbus Regional Health for treatment. The extent of Regan’s injuries is unknown.
The accident remains under investigation.
