HOPE, Ind. — The Columbus Visitors Center has closed its satellite branch office in Hope. The move will require Heritage of Hope and the Hope Art Gallery to relocate, and the newly vacated space will allow a pharmacy to locate in the community.
The office was established in September 2015 in order to promote the town. Heritage of Hope, Inc. launched the program with $40,000 from the county innkeeper’s tax. Officials are developing other ways to promote tourism in the Hope area.
The Hope Wellness Pharmacy is expected to open on February 1.
