BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — One person was arrested during an inauguration protest in Bloomington on Friday.
Bloomington police allege Trevor Moore, 23, of Goshen, was one of 50 people dressed in dark clothing who gathered in People’s Park Friday around 8:45 p.m. The group placed stickers on parking meters and filled coin slots with super glue, dumped trash cans, vandalized ATMs, and threw paint-filled balloons into buildings. Police say the group made their way to Eighth Street and College Avenue where police saw Moore damage a vehicle with a stick, and throw a brick into the window of the Old National Bank building on Kirkwood Avenue. He was captured after a short foot chase.
Moore has been charged with resisting law enforcement, disorderly conduct, and five counts of criminal mischief and rioting.
