COLUMBUS, Ind. — A Columbus woman is facing multiple charges after a traffic stop early Thursday morning.
Police observed a vehicle driven by Micah Orr, 26, driving with only one headlight, on State Street near Hinman Street, at 2:40 a.m. Orr first attempted to give officers false information as to who she was, but police were quickly able to confirm her correct identity.
During the investigation police determined Orr had an outstanding warrant from Shelby County. Prior to taking her to jail, officers discovered drug paraphernalia in her coat pocket. During a more thorough search at the jail, police also found three syringes Orr had concealed. Orr has been charged with an outstanding Shelby County warrant, driving while suspended, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a syringe.
