GREENWOOD, Ind. — Alcohol is suspected in a one-car crash that injured an Indianapolis man Sunday in Johnson County.
Around 3:30 a.m., Derrick Ford, 35, was southbound on County Road 300E and drove through the stop sign at Main Street. He drove into a yard, hit a fence and several trees. Ford admitted to police that he had been drinking before the crash.
Ford was taken to a local hospital for treatment and blood draw for toxicology purposes. Charges are expected to be filed.
