FRANKLIN, Ind. — Two Bartholomew County residents face narcotics charges after a traffic stop in Johnson County around 12:40 a.m. on Tuesday. Police stopped a car driven by Jeremy Hedger, 39 of Elizabethtown, after he failed to signal a turn in the 5500 block of U.S. 31. After a canine officer gave a positive indication for narcotics Hedger and a passenger, Rhiannon Mitchell, 29, of Columbus, were asked to step out of the car. During a search police found prescription drugs, paraphernalia and heroin. Hedger and Mitchell were taken to the Johnson County Jail.
