GREENWOOD, Ind. — Detectives in Johnson County are investigating the burglary of Low Bobs Tobacco in the 1200 block of North Bluff Road on Sunday, around 6:50 a.m. Police found the back door slightly open, a cigarette carton on the floor, and bolts taken out of the floor safe.
The business owner did an inventory and determined several items were missing, including smoking pipes, cartons of cigarettes and about $2,900 from the safe. The thieves removed the safe from the floor and took it.
Detectives used surveillance footage and found two subjects had been in the building. One of the suspects was wearing a red shirt and a skull mask, the other was wearing a black shirt and a mask. Police are processing physical evidence and interviewing three former employees.
