COLUMBUS, Ind. — Columbus police made two drug arrests during a traffic stop Thursday evening.
Around 6:30 police stopped a car driven by Madeline McNicholas, 32, because of a heavily damaged license plate near Marr Road and Jolinda Drive. During the stop a police canine alerted to the presence of narcotics. Police searched the car and found methamphetamine, digital scales and suboxone strips.
Madeline McNicholas and her passenger Carl McNicholas, 33, both of Hope, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
