BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The Federal Bureau of Investigation has been asked to look into white supremacist flyers found on the Bloomington campus of Indiana University. Officials say the same information has been found on at least 30 other campuses in the country.
The flyers are from a group called Evropa and they show the head of a Roman statue and the quote, “Our Future Belongs To Us.” The flyers were found at the Maurer School of Law, and on the fourth and fifth floor of Ballantine Hall.
“These flyers were meant to intimidate, threaten, scare and provoke anger among faculty, staff, students and visitors,” IU Provost and Executive Vice President Lauren Robel says in written statement. “Our university rejects all forms of racism, bigotry, and discrimination. These are in direct conflict with our core values and simply will not be tolerated. Our campus unequivocally rejects the cowardice and ugliness that this group’s action represents.”
Information about the flyers or the group can be reported by calling 812-855-4111.
