FRANKLIN, Ind. — Franklin Mayor Steve Barnett has named two new members to the board of public works and safety. Bob Swinehammer and Lisa Jones will be the next members of the board.
Swinehammer was appointed to the board in 2012 by Joe McGuinness and has worked many years with Mayor Barnett. He was the first planning director for the city and has served on a variety of boards and commissions, and has now worked for nine different city administrations.
Jones is a life-long Franklin resident and has a background in business and finance. She has worked with the Franklin Development Corporation, Leadership Johnson County, and has served as the treasurer for the Franklin Boys and Girls Club.
