COLUMBUS, ind. — Director of corporate integrity at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, Kathy Rose, has earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice. The degree prepares nurses for advanced clinical practice, leadership, management of health care delivery systems, and influence to health policy.
For the past three years Rose has worked full-time while attending classes at Bellarmine University in Louisville.
Rose has been with Our Hospice of South Central Indiana since August 2016 and will now lead the corporate team. Her priorities will be patient safety, evidence-based practice, education and quality improvement.
Our Hospice President, Laura Hurt said, “Kathy’s 30-plus year career in healthcare has made her well-prepared for her leadership role at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. We are proud of Kathy for earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice as only about 3% of nurses achieve this milestone.”
