COLUMBUS, Ind. — A Scipio man is in jail facing drug charges after a traffic stop around 1:45 a.m. Thursday, near U.S. 31 and County Road 50N.
Charlie Noblitt, 53, was stopped for failure to have working taillights. While speaking to the driver police noticed a glass pipe with white residue between the seats. After Noblitt was taken into custody officers found marijuana, digital scales and three bags of methamphetamine.
Noblitt has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, dealing in methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
