GREENWOOD, Ind. — One person was arrested following a chain reaction crash on northbound State Road 37, just south of Fairview Road on Wednesday around 4:45 p.m.
A car driven by Samuel Baker, 21, of Mooresville, was unable to slow for others stopped at a traffic signal and struck a car driven by Paul Taylor, 48, of New Palestine. The impact forced Taylor into a third car driven by Porfirio Castro, 21, of Indianapolis.
Castro gave police a vehicle registration and a Nicaraguan passport. When questioned Castro told police he has been living in the Greenwood area for the last four years and has not obtained an Indiana driver’s license. Castro was arrested without incident. No serious injuries were reported in the crash.
