BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — First responders in Bloomington are warning drug users about a very powerful, and potentially lethal batch of heroin that is being distributed in the Indiana. Over the last week, nine people in Monroe County were treated with Narcan because of heroin overdoses. Five of the overdoses were reported in just a 10-hour period on Wednesday. No deaths have been reported at this time.
Reports indicate police in Muncie also treated multiple overdoses last weekend.
