GREENWOOD, Ind. — The Johnson County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance are looking for leads to solve the cause a house fire on December 14, 2016, on North Graham Road.
When firefighters arrived in the early morning hours they found the home fully engulfed in flames. While the blaze was being fought, family members noticed a 1999 Pontiac Montana was missing from the driveway. It was recovered later that day in the parking lot at the Boy’s and Girl’s Club. Video surveillance shows two people are seen exiting the Montana and walking away to another vehicle. Video from near the fire scene shows an SUV-type vehicle in the area just before firefighters responded.
Officials are looking for any tips to find the driver of the SUV. Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance has offered up to $2,000 for information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. Information about this crime may be called-in to 317-346-4654.
