COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Ivy Tech Community College location in Columbus will host an event for “21st Century Scholars” from area high school to explain eligibility for scholarships and help them learn about higher education. The event will be held at the Columbus Learning Center on February 28, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. All 21st Century Scholars in grades 9 through 12 from Bartholomew, Jennings, Brown, Jackson and Decatur Counties are invited.
More than 2,000 students are enrolled in the program and they may have access to as many as four years of paid tuition at an eligible Indiana college, if they meet income guidelines. The program offers assistance in planning, preparing and paying for college.
