COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew County Commissioners are exploring the possibility of establishing a capital development fund which could be used for major projects like the county annex.
Commissioners have a public hearing timetable that would begin in March and wrap up in April. County council members will have to approve the plan and they prefer delaying public hearings until August.
Officials say the fund would cost the owner of a $100,000 home about $11 per year.
