SEYMOUR, Ind. — Three people were injured in an accident on Interstate 65 in Jackson County on Wednesday around 4:45 p.m. The crash closed the northbound lanes for about two hours.
A car driven by Ye Sun, 23, of Urbana, Illinois, collided with a semi-trailer while merging onto northbound I-65 from State Road 11. The contact caused Sun’s car to overturn.
Sun was extricated and transported to an Indianapolis hospital for treatment, while his two passengers were taken to Schneck Medical Center in Seymour. The driver of the truck, Said Adam, 37, of Cincinnati, was not injured.
