COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Columbus Regional Health Wound Center has received national recognition. Healogics Inc. has named it a “Center of Distinction.”
The award was earned by achieving outstanding clinical outcomes for 12 consecutive months, patient satisfaction of at least 92 percent, and a wound healing rate of 91 percent. The Columbus center is one of 334 to receive the honor nationwide, where more than 600 similar sites are eligible.
Some of the advanced treatment offered at Columbus Regional health Wound Center are negative pressure wound therapy, debridement, application of cellular based tissue or skin substitutes, offloading or total contact casts, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
