COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew County deputies made a drug arrest following a traffic stop Monday evening about 8:45.
Deputies observed a car driven by Cody Manvilla, 25, of Taylorsville, making an abrupt lane change on U.S. 31. They also noticed that the car was displaying a truck license plate. When Manville turned onto West Robin Way deputies initiated a traffic stop.
During the stop Manvilla attempted to identify himself as his brother, but one of the officers on the scene knew his actual identity because he had had previous dealings with Manvilla. During a search, methamphetamine was found on the suspect. Manvilla was taken to the Bartholomew County Jail and charged with four outstanding Bartholomew County warrants, false informing, possession of methamphetamine, driving while suspended, and driving without obtaining a license.
