FRANKLIN, Ind. — A Johnson County man turned over information about contest scammers to the sheriff’s department this week.
The man received the call saying he had won a new car and $3.5 million in cash, and he needed to send $299 in cash to:

Police are investigating the address and a phone number from the 775 area code. There was no money or personal information sent to the suspected scammers.
