COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Bartholomew County Extension held its second annual Local Food Summit this week. The event included a free exchange of information,plus a networking session between producers and consumers.
The group has a shared interest of developing a “Hometown Food Guide” that would help people find producers and products. Interest was also shown in establishing a Local Food Council that would promote zoning regulations for food friendly producers.
